PART 2:
December 19th 2014.
I can't believe it, Matt just opened the door and.... nothing. Completely empty street, we just don't understand, we all heard it, the weird noises, what was it? someone knocking and then hiding? our minds playing tricks? maybe something we ate caused a shared hallucination.
well whatever it was we are now all royally spooked, we sat and spoke through the night, and have finally decided to hit the road, move southwards, somewhere we all know well, and we can all check on our loved ones.
Crystal wasn't too sure about heading off so soon but the others (myself included) want to head back to Kent to see what we find, it would appear we are going to walk the distance as none of us has a car and no public services are running, Tara and Skyler worked out that it would take about three days including stops, which will probably be many.
So tomorrow we are off on our a hundred and fifty mile journey, everything we plan to take with us has been packed, we are all going to try to get some rest now before we leave as early as possible, the noises have started again so we've barricaded the door and have settled in my room, all huddled tight together.
December 21st 2014.
So far we've made it to Luton, We are also two people down, Matt and Tara got separated after We got all the way to Northampton, we settled down in an abandoned house, there were bodies everywhere as we made our way into Northampton, littering the streets.
it's now obvious to us that there's nothing that anyone is doing about the situation, we haven't seen any others since Leicester, and even that was at a distance, we decided to avoid people unless we were absolutely sure they aren't doing to rob us.
we aren't sure whats happening, it's silent most nights, except from the noises which seem to be following us from town to town, almost like we are being followed but that's impossible isn't it? I mean, if we were being followed then surely we would have seen someone by now? it's almost like it's in the air, Last night the banging started again.
And this morning Matt and Tara had left, without a word, their stuff was even still here, Skyler and Myself wanted to wait for them, But Lilla and Crystal are right, we need to press on with our travels, tomorrow we move on towards London, stopping at St. Albans.
December 23rd 2014.
Great news! we found two lads as we were leaving Luton, Roy and Wesley, we ran into them while heading towards the motorway, we'd gotten to the services when Roy spotted us.
We thought they were attacking us to begin with, Well wouldn't you? two men running at you shouting and waving? Well after a very tense stand off we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.
So now they are travelling with us, Roy was a builder and Wesley worked in a music shop, both are nice, kind hearted people who have helped us on our journey.
December 25th 2014.
So it's Christmas and we have made it to London! not that its recognisably London anymore, the fighting here was obviously bad, buildings destroyed, streets lined with bodies and no signs of life, we've been walking the streets for hours now,
We've found a shopping center that looks somewhat still intact so we broke in, We've spent the evening looking for the food court and for new clothes as ours are soaked through from all of the rain, Roy gave us all presents earlier as it's Christmas day.
not that this is how any of us wanted to spend it, it's nice to pretend there is some humanity left in the world, even if it is just some people who have lost everything celebrating a holiday that doesn't exist anymore, it's good to just forget about what has happened, it appears that Skyler has found a Bar, looks like we are going for a drink.....

For this part i wanted to keep things grounded and slowly create a more human look for the characters, more of an overview, i will be adding more detail to this when i turn this into a manuscript, please remember this is an overview of the book and doesn't have all of the details in it, eacxh "day" is going to be a chapter long in the end so you can imagine how long they are going to be! i hope you have enjoyed this and i will post Part 3 when i have time to write it!
