Hello old friends.

It's been a while, I do apologise for not keeping up with this but as with all things in life, it seems to slip through your fingers when you least expect it, I could sit here and spew on about how hard life can be and how unfair it is but you don't want to read that, and I don't particularly want to write about it.

I'm sat here at half past midnight of a Friday evening during a world wide pandemic munching on a chicken and mushroom slice and contemplating what to say to you all now I'm finally typing away, Honestly it makes me remember back to a year ago when I was working for a retail company, gearing up for Christmas in the hustle and bustle of people, No social distancing then!

I remember days and evenings spent being pushed back and forth by customers, over crowded trains and buses, the world we used to know, a world I feel we took for granted, and like many recent events, it has changed our world forever, so many of my friends I haven't seen in months, family that are further than ever, while I write this, I think of my great-aunt Riek, Who lived over in the Netherlands, with a fair amount of my family, Home, On my Oma's side (Grandmother).

A few weeks ago I received a call from my mother, explaining that she had contracted the virus that has so easily slowed our world to a halt, and that she had succumbed to it, she wasn't a young woman, but I had hoped to travel over to see her at least one last time before she passed, to say goodbye at least, I didn't get the chance with my Great-Uncle Wim at the end of last year, and it will be a pain in my heart that I was unable to travel.

It all brought back a flood of memories, My Great-Uncle Tiny(pronounced Teeny) visiting for my fathers funeral, my Second cousin coming to see us various times and always smiling, visiting the Dutch family in Eindhoven with My Uncle and my Grandmother, not understanding a word they said to me and yet knowing full well I was still being included and that they cared.

I think what I'm trying to say is, no matter who someone is in your life, if you are close to them or not, make the effort, even if it's a quick "Hi" or a check up to make sure someone is looking after themselves, Do it, because you never know what tomorrow will bring, Especially with the world how it is now, everyone feels isolated and some days are harder than ever for people suffering from hidden illnesses.

We all know someone who is distant, quiet and alone, please check on them, let them know they are loved, and that they count.

Sorry for the heavy post guys, but we need to be united now more than ever, We can all be Light in the darkness.

also.... Wear a mask!

Yours as always.

Role Playing games and Such..........

Well Hello there internet people! I am back! in a new city half a country away from where i was, that's right i'm now calling Leicester my home! i aim to bring you some awesome reviews on games and other stuff once i have sorted everything out! now living with the Girlfriend so i now have a partner in crime on alot of my reviews and videos! anyways enough about that! on to the subject for today: ROLEPLAYING!

I am an avid roleplayer of the Live action, the Tabletop and the console roleplay genre aswel as roleplaying with my best friend Kitta... i'll start with my personal favorite:

The Table Top Roleplay:

there are several different type of tabletop role playing games out there, here are my top two!

in Second place..... Dungeons and Dragons:

Now, i know alot of you just decided i'm now a hugely nerdy bugger... well i am but bear with me!
A couple of years ago my mate Mike got me into D&D when he talked me into it.... took him three hours to convince me and i was soon addicted! I was Denan Eclipse, Dragon-born, King of the free-lands! last of his line and leader of an army of dragon-men! follower of the great dragon goddess Berfermet! needless to say i loved it! and we even created our own Bastardized version of it where our mate Russell would be our dungeon master, and then the fun times really began! from throwing bricks at barkeepers to kicking Mike out of a window as he jumps through it... to dwarven threesomes (long story).... the fun just kept going and going until we were playing for ten hours straight,

In First place.... WARHAMMER 40.000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW WE'RE TALKING!!!!!!!!!! i am a painter and collector of Warhammer models, i collect three armies.... all imperial! none of that heretical stuff anymore! used to be a follower of Chaos but i repented! nowadays i play Grey knights, Blood angels and Space wolves... the best of the best! you can have some real fun when painting them if you do it as a group and then you have the true satisfaction when you are done painting and you put your army on parade... not to mention the back story behind it all! it's so in depth that you can't help but love it!

If you are thinking of taking up Warhammer then i suggest you do some background research, visit your local Games Workshop and find out what army would be best for you, everyone is different... but most of all originality is key!

Console/PC Roleplay:

There are many games on the console systems (and PC) that are purely made for their role playing ability (world of Warcraft/Star trek online) but i won't focus on them as i have more pressing games... it's time for a top five!

5): Balder's Gate

ahhhh what a place to start! this is the series that began it all for me! the game play was fantastic, the graphics were sexy, the story line was beautifully written and dayum! a four disc install? that always got me excited with how big a game was! 1 disc? pft nah man it's two disc or more for me! i was especially excited when they decided to bring it to console with Dark Alliance!  released in 2001 on the Xbox, PlayStation and the console i got it on... the game cube! it was my favorite game all those years ago... seriously check it out! i'll include a link at the bottom if you want to purchase it to try!

4): Oblivion
now we knew at least one elder scrolls game would make it onto my list or in this case two! oblivion being the first! it was the first game i got on my Xbox when i got one so it holds a special place in my heart, i loved the story line and the way the game play felt, it was empowering to get into a game for the first time like this!

3): Skyrim
now... i love Skyrim... i mean i completed it in one sitting love it! it was like coming home after oblivion, and i don't know a single gamer that hasn't played Skyrim religiously in their lives, the graphics were super sexy, the missions were interesting and DAYUM!! being a dragon-born was freaking sweet! killing those dragons to gain the power to shout? perfect! and the arrow in the knee actually means getting married! The more you know! and avoid getting a companion..... just trust me.....

2): Dragon Age Games
you need to play these games to truly realise how great they are! one of biowares three greatest games series (the others being Balder's Gate and Mass Effect) it combines fast paced turned based combat and smart arse quips at each of your characters! there's not much i can say without giving the story away but you will love it! and when the second game comes around get Merrill!

1): Mass effect trilogy

now now now this had to be my first choice because who dosen't love being Commander Shepard fighting the reaper and collector forces (and cerberus) aboard the Normandy? i mean it's a beautifully sourced game that is put together so lovingly its a living, breathing universe!

live action role play: LARP...

seriously just go look it up and attend an event.... you will not regret it!!!

Written Role Playing/Fan Fiction..

now this is a huge part of my life and i have a very good Roleplay partner called Kitta, we work well together, i build the worlds and she details then, making the story more immersive so i can make huge twists whenever i feel its needed, we have rped many things from assassins creed to pirates, zombie apocalypse to Vampires, you name it you can make it, the sky is the limit!

I hope you have enjoyed my guide to roleplaying and my top five, i will catch you all soon but for the moment it's time to play some Last of Us! Bye!!!

Say hello to Hello Studio/Studio hunting!

It's that time again!

Hey guys, as i haven't posted in a few days, i have decided to link two blogs into one....

HELLO Studio:

our newest endeavor between myself and Jase(yes he who is mentioned many a time.) is to create a mainly Ashford based studio, thus HELLO Studio was born.....

Running a Production company and helping with two recording studios can sometimes be an arduous task, Especially when you need to find a bigger space, I now know that as a given fact of running a company, Doesn't make it any easier when you are on the fourth bus while going to view them having traveled around the WHOLE FREAKING COUNTY!!!!! As much as i love traveling it does take its toll after awhile...

So for the last two weeks Myself and the Teams at Hello Studios, 666HaloJaseDrocker666 Studios and Dark Noble have been looking for a new studio to work out of, today we were viewing Studios all around Kent..... So far we haven't quite found the right one, but there are a few hopefuls and one i fell in love with because it's perfect in every way, situated on two floors with a wide area on the bottom and it has a ready built Radio Station room on the first floor that just needs the equipment put in place by yours truly (amazingly something i am quite skilled at doing!) and then that leaves us the entire lower area to use as a Music production area/offices, so perfect but probably very expensive!!

Today was a Viewing day for Myself and Jase, it was also an excuse for a day trip! for those who don't know me, i love going on day trips, i mean i love them like a dog loves them.... head out the window and everything, absolute child at heart! we had a great many laughs and met a few new faces as well as old ones, these kinds of adventures always make me feel so happy to be doing what i'm doing, it kind of makes it worth it!

The first Post...... HOPE

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Albert Einstein

Hmm..... I've always wondered how to start a Blog.... Well.... Here goes, for those who do not know who i am... and that's a great many people, My name is Alex Tiltman, i am the owner and main presenter of a small video production company called Dark Noble, we make all kinds of videos, from music videos to films, and everything in between, this month we are celebrating our third birthday, it's amazing to look at how things have changed in that time, people have come and gone, we have had to fight to stay running, it's been a wild ride, Sorry if i am rambling, I'm not used to writing down my thoughts..... anyway let me explain what has me working hard at this time...

The Cancer Corner:

So, Jase contacted me the other day, He is the owner of 666HaloJaseDrocker666 Studios We work together closely, he's like a brother to me, Well he contacted me about a page on Facebook, Called the Cancer Corner, it's run by a wonderful lady called Catey Dolan, and it's there to help and support people who's lives have been affected by the dreaded C word, i have some experience of what it is like to have someone who has Cancer in your life and i know how hard it can be to cope with losing them, so i jumped at the chance to get involved in such a wonderful program! So far we have been promoting like mad to get the word out about this site and Jase has recorded a track titled Hope, it's a beautiful song that captures the emotions of going through struggle and always clinging onto what you have, Last night we were shooting the music video for it and we worked through the night, at around four in the morning i realised how much backing this cause means to me, and how much it means to all the people involved, i felt proud to be brought into this wonderful caring group of people, i know i'm a sentimental git but you have to understand it takes a lot to move me to the rate this has, hence why it is the first thing i am blogging about.

The "Hope" Music Video:

so, onto the main event! this is what we spent the whole of last night doing, so Jase messaged me saying he was going to start recording this video by using empty streets and the darkness and i thought "Great i think i might pop along with him and help out" so off i trotted to town... by trotted i mean a slow meander, and just as i got into town the heavens opened! those who know me know i wear a leather jacket when i go out so luckily i stayed dry.... same can't be said for Jase, when he turned up to my little sheltered area he was soaked but in good spirits, when i asked why he explained what the video was about.... Hope, and that it is his hope that this video will bring hope to all those who need it, all those who deserve something great, all those that have had such a rough time be it with the C word or otherwise, that maybe they can find it within the video we created, i like to think so, so in the pouring rain we ventured forth, taking many shots of our town, Ashford, a place that has seen many things, and still looks to the future, as i write this i look out of my window and hope it never goes away, for what is hope? a wanting? a wish? or is it what makes us human? a hope to touch the stars, a hope to see the world, a hope to be together as one, a hope to have children, a hope to eat, a hope to drink clean water, a hope to Love... Hope for hopes sake, be human, make mistakes, love and be loved, and always hope!

The Closing Thoughts:

These past months have been tough, losing my home and my job would have killed me if it had not been for Hope and some fantastic friends and my family who rallied round and got me back on my feet, here i am, 6 months later, back into video making, back into music and back into writing, three of my favorite things to do, so if you take everything but hope from a man he can still fight on, on a side note about this blog, i will be using it to chart my journey to the London expo as Bane next year, including my weight loss plan and the costume making, i hope you enjoy it guys, this has been about Hope, tell me what you think Hope means to you, i want to hear your stories! thanks guys...... i will post links to all the pages mentioned so you can check them out :)

I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe.
